Cosmic Bowling
I got talked into going Cosmic Bowling at the Waveland Bowl tonight. You have to understand that I do NOT go bowling. I have a germ thing and the wearing of other people's shoes and the dirty balls (ha!) gross me out. However, I am going to try to overcome the germ thing because I've been promised black lights, fog machines and cocktails. How could a girl turn that down?
Saturday night I'm going to see Pinback and Enon and Make Believe at the Logan Square Auditorium. I'm pretty excited about the show but I'm actually more excited it's at the Logan. It's 3 blocks from my house and I've never been there and I hear it's a great space for shows AND it's within walking distance of my place. How great is that? I can just stumble home afterwards if need be. I'm going to see Peaches there May 7, too. Yay for Peaches!
Sunday night I'm going to see a play and then to a party afterwards.
I am filling my schedule up with way too much stuff when I totally have to catch up on my homework. Bah!
This weather is making me feel extra feisty. Seriously.
UPDATE: I just got back from bowling and I got a 75 which is my highest score ever! It was fun, but by the 2nd game I was tired. The cosmicness is cool but the music sucks ass. And next to us was a lane full of like 7 high school kids. Ugh. The verdict: fun, but not that fun. I would like to go with more people and I hear Diversey Bowl is better. When they reopen maybe I'll check that out.
