LONG WINTERS RULE!
Holy crap! I just got home from the Long Winters show and I am totally beaming. It was an awesome show, for really. Now let me just say I love, love, love the latest record. HOWEVER, the show tonight blew me away!!! Seriously, best show I've seen in a while. The songs are all great, but the vibe was so good. Dudes were all smiley and happy and so impressed that everyone was so into it, with the cheering and the wooing. I myself let out a hearty woo after almost every song. Fucking A. It was such good times. We were right up front and they were so fun. Hell. Shit. Damn. I've already declared that John (singer, writes the songs) is my new husband. He is SUCH a good guitar player. Really.
I have that glow you get after a totally good show. I'm hyper and I had like 4 ciders, plus 1/3 of a pot brownie, so I'm in good spirits.
So is my cat Bob. He's purring and sitting on my hands making it very difficult to type.
Tonight it's Spring Forward here in the Midwest and it sucks. I'm losing an hour and I just don't have and hour to lose!
