I need a good kick in the ass!
I stayed home from work today because I'm still hacking up a lung. I'm feeling better but still sickly.
Good things I got in the mail today:
1)The latest issue of Jane and
2)The first season of Chappelle's Show on DVD, which I've never seen but keep hearing people rave about. It better be good or I'm going to be pissed.
I've been reading all day. I read the first 50 pages of Portnoy's Complaint by Phillip Roth. Now I'm reading Mourning Becomes Electra by Eugene O'Neill and I've got about 25 pages to go. All I have to do is finish The Bell Jar and I will actually be done with my reading for classes this week. However, I'm not even close to having my writing done. I have a ton of it to do and I have absolutely no drive/desire to do any of it. Fucking hell.
I'm having a hermit of a day to top off my hermit of a weekend. I'm feeling a bit better today about all of that icky stuff I wrote about last night, but not that much better. Oh well. I guess I need a good kick in the ass to get me out of my feeling sorry for myself mode.
Back to O'Neill.
