Friday: Reiki & The City
Going into the city today, I'm excited. I'm going to spend the whole weekend there, probably most of it laying down on Caryl's couch, but at least it will be a different couch! And I'll get to see my friends and just hang out, which always makes me feel better.
Today I had my 13th treatment, so I'm more than halfway done (I have to have 25) and it's a good feeling. The side effects come and go, sometimes I feel just fine, others I feel horrible. But I mostly am okay enough, I'm grateful I'm getting through it. I've been good about my pills and herbal tea this week, the ones that are supposed to be boosting my immune system. I got a flu shot on Wednesday and my arm is still all swollen and red. Ick! Today at 5pm I have an appointment with the Reiki practitioner and I'm anxious to see how that's going to work out. I'm sure that it will at least be calming and relaxing.
I'll write when I get back on Sunday. A lot is swimming around in my head right now and not much of it makes sense.
